According to Hanoi police, one solution to limit traffic oder and safety violation is detected using a video camera and handled violations by images.

In order to limit the violations of traffic order and safety, previous time, Hanoi was developing a camera placed at key intersections in the city to fine violation through images.

 

However, only 34 cameras are installed at key intersections in Hanoi . Thus, Hanoi police recently proposed Hanoi People’s Committee directing the Department of Transportation push up the project to upgrade central of control traffic signal lights with the installation of more cameras at 200 intersections.

 

 

According to Hanoi police’s Report, to fine violations through images were not effective because the number of camera was installed at the roads and intersections was too little.

In order to achieve the target 20% reduction of traffic accidents and deaths, wounded in 2012 and the next stage, Police proposed Hanoi People's Committee directed the Department of Transportation to push up the project to upgrade central of control traffic signal lights with the installation of more cameras at 200 intersections, especially at junctions, main roads.

 

 

The project is not only helping to control traffic violations, but also providing images and ensuring to fine violations correctly and efficiency.
