From September 25, Traffic Inspection of Hanoi cooperated with functional forces to check, handle violations on traffic safety order, clearing works that occupy road, railway safety corridors on the Phap Van – Cau Gie route.
According to the Hanoi Department of Transport (DOT) , these are activities that help reduce traffic accidents, ensuring traffic safety order on the Phap Van – Cau Gie route in the Traffic Safety Month.
The Phap Van – Cau Gie route is 32 km long, passing Hoang Mai, Thanh Trì, Thường Tín, Phú Xuyên districts which is inherently complicated traffic safety order. There are many violations in occupying road safety corridor to do business, stocking building materials and equipments; dump trucks always stop or park in wrong places as regulated. There is also a situation of tents, roofing, over roofing, advert boards were installed not as same as specified, causing affection to traffic safety order.
Before that, functional forces made many campaign to clear violations on traffic safety order, violations on road, railway corridors and handle vehicles from Giap Bat, Nuoc Ngam stations picking passengers disorderly on this road section, but situation now become as previous time.
Following the DOT’s plan, after undertaking violation clearance (from 25 – 30 September), from Oct 1st, Traffic Inspection forces of districts where the road passing shall organize forces to maintain and prevent from re-violation.
