Particularly, the inter-agencies forces shall apply heavy punishment to bus drivers who running fast, overcoming carelessly in the inner city, stopping, parking to unload passengers in mid of roads that causes congestion and unsafe traffic, abandoning bus stops to receive or release passengers

There are currently 58 bus routes in Hanoi, with nearly 1,200 bus stops, receiving daily average of about 600,000 passenger times. Public transport by bus is rather disordered, causing traffic congestions. There’s already been some cases of running fast, overcoming carelessly which caused accidents to road users.

Previously, on June 4, Hanoi Police has checked and handled violated passenger vehicles. In the first day of the campaign, there were  39 cases handled by the Police, which were almost on receiving and releasing passengers not in the right specified places.
